How to

The technique.

  1. 01

Place one end of a barbell in a landmine attachment or corner.

  2. 02

Stand facing the barbell, holding the free end with both hands at chest height.

  3. 03

Feet should be shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, core braced.

  4. 04

Rotate your torso, swinging the barbell down to one side of your body.

  5. 05

Control the movement, then swing it across to the other side, maintaining core tension.

Common mistakes

What goes wrong.

  • ×Using too much weight, leading to excessive body sway and loss of control.
  • ×Rounding the back, compromising spinal alignment.
  • ×Not controlling the movement, letting the bar swing freely.
  • ×Lifting heels off the ground, reducing stability.
  • ×Relying on arm strength instead of core rotation.
