How to
The technique.
- 01
Place one end of a barbell in a landmine attachment or corner.
- 02
Stand facing the barbell, holding the free end with both hands at chest height.
- 03
Feet should be shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, core braced.
- 04
Rotate your torso, swinging the barbell down to one side of your body.
- 05
Control the movement, then swing it across to the other side, maintaining core tension.
Common mistakes
What goes wrong.
- ×Using too much weight, leading to excessive body sway and loss of control.
- ×Rounding the back, compromising spinal alignment.
- ×Not controlling the movement, letting the bar swing freely.
- ×Lifting heels off the ground, reducing stability.
- ×Relying on arm strength instead of core rotation.
