How to

The technique.

  1. 01

    Start in a push-up position, then step one foot outside your hand.

  2. 02

    Keep your back leg straight and heel lifted, maintaining a stable base.

  3. 03

    Rotate your torso towards the front leg, reaching your inside arm to the sky.

  4. 04

    Lower your elbow towards the floor inside your front foot for a deeper hip stretch.

  5. 05

    Return to the starting push-up position and repeat on the other side.

Common mistakes

  • ×Rushing through the movements, not holding each position.
  • ×Rounding the back, losing spinal integrity.
  • ×Not going deep enough into the hip or thoracic rotation.
  • ×Holding breath, reducing relaxation and stretch.
